We'll take the all the time you need to anwser your questions and make you feel comfortable that you've made the right decision.
Firearms transfers: Buying a gun somewhere else and need to it transfer it through our shop? No problem! After making your purchase come on into 10-8 Outfitters. We'll get the paperwork started to reduce your wait time. Bring us the firearms dealers information you are recieving it from like fax number and email address and we'll take care of the rest. Our FFL transfer fee is $30.00. Need a firearm shipped out to another FFL dealer? Bring us your unpackaged firearm and we'll ship it for you. It's a $30 fee plus actually shipping cost. Usually around $25.00 for handguns and $40.00 for long guns. Call us if you have any questions.
A valid Illinois FOID (firearms owner identification) card is required to handle and purchase any firearm and ammunition. If you are a resident of Illinois and need to apply for your FOID card we can help. We'll help you fill out the proper state application, take the required passport photo and send everything to the State of Illinois for $25.00. You'll be a legal gun owner before you know it!
